This property developer client contacted Sirius Property Finance seeking assistance on the refinance of their recently completed block of flats into separate leasehold titles. This would enable them to repay their outstanding development loan, while also raising funds for future investments.
In order to get the best outcome for the client, Sirius directly consulted the client’s tax advisors, advising them of a change to the company set up which would make them more tax efficient as well as more appealing to lenders. As a result, Sirius was able to secure £1.5m, £1m to be used to repay the existing development loan with the remaining £500k raised for their next development deal.
